When students read text in the independent (non-guided) format, they have the opportunity to apply their efficient and fluent reading skills while exercising and expanding upon their comprehension abilities.Each student at your school uses the same Site Code to open the door to Reading Plus.If youve forgotten your Site Code, ask your Reading Plus teacher, or friends and classmates who are also using Reading Plus.
If you are still unable to locate your Site Code, please reach out to the Customer Service team at supportreadingplus.com or 1-800-732-3758 option 1. When you first log in to Reading Plus, you are asked to enter your Site Code. Your workstation will remember your Site Code the next time you log in, as long as cookies are not cleared from your workstation. Do you use a Single Sign-On Link If your school uses a single sign-on program (single sign-on is a page a student logs in to to access all school-related websites, such as Clever and ClassLink), then this is the path you would use to access the program. Reading 4.0 Password To YourIf you have forgotten your username and password to your schools portal, your Reading Plus teacher will need to provide them. When you do get your username and password, be sure to write it down for future reference. What is my username and password When logging in to Reading Plus, after entering a Site Code, you will need to enter your username and password provided by your teacher or administrator. The independent rate, or I-Rate, is your rate when you read without the Guided Window. In the guided format, students read text with the support of the Guided Window scaffold. In the independent or non-guided format, students are in control of advancing through screens of text at their own pace. The Guided Window helps students develop efficient and effective reading habits by enabling them to process text fluently and sequentially. It also supports students in attaining grade appropriate reading rates while engaging in authentic, comprehension-based reading.
